Olympic Weightlifting

Olympic Weightlifting is a style of weightlifting that focuses on two lifts – the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. These lifts require a combination of strength, speed, and technique, making them a great full-body workout. At Jacksonville Strength, we cater to athletes of all ages and levels, from beginners to experienced lifters.

We offer two programs for those getting acquainted with Olympic Weightlifting: 

Beginner 1:  For Novice athletes.  Zero experience needed, we'll teach you.

Beginner 2:  For athletes who have little experience or for Beginner 1 athletes advancing up. 

Both programs emphasize body awareness, muscle engagement, technique and positioning.​



Designed for those with some experience, typically about 1-3 years, and are considering Weightlifting as a sport or need an intense program for other sports.  It utilizes advanced weightlifting movements and strength percentages to further advance their strength and performance.



Our program has produced Team USA Members, National, State and High School State champions.

It covers all the bases (Power, Speed, Strength, and Stability) and is programmed to put you or your athlete on the podium.



Program for athletes over 35 years of age.

Our program takes a tailored approach to training due to the unique physiological and recovery challenges associated with aging.

Our masters team has achieved remarkable success with our specialized approach to Olympic weightlifting.
